Nude B-W+S 5

1963
(approx. 18"h by 27"w)
Acrylics(?) on masonite.

NOTE:  In the mid 1960s, Cox produced a series of nudes, of which this is a prime example (apparently the 5th in the series). What the title means is still unknown, but the figure is reminiscent of William Blake, both in the coloring and texture, as well as in the sweeping and fluid shape of the figure.
